Easy Fall Craft + DIY Stationery in One Printable
In this post you’ll find the template for making a mini kawaii letter that folds into an envelope. The template also includes extra decorations to cut and paste, so you can create your own DIY stationery.
This autumn envelope template is a freebie — for your personal, non-commercial use. Print it as many times as you like and keep it handy whenever you need a cute card or note with an autumn theme.
The kawaii squirrel, acorns, and other autumn touches were illustrated with the help of my friend and colleague, ChatGPT 🪄🧙♂️
Kids can make this cute fall stationery as an easy paper craft, so you can pull it out for a quick activity or keep it for a quiet moment of your own.

How to Make Your Kawaii Letter-Envelope
This kawaii stationery folds into a small, cute envelope measuring 9.5 × 7.5 cm (3.7 × 2.95 in) — just the right size to tuck into a gift or use as a mini card.
For this DIY stationery you’ll need:
- The Fall Letter Envelope Template
- White cardstock for printers
- Scissors
- Craft knife (optional)
- Glue
Steps:
1. Print out the template on white cardstock that fits your printer. It’s set to standard letter size, but works on A4 too (no scaling needed).

2. Cut out the pieces: the envelope, the blank note, and the kawaii autumn decorations.

A small white border around the shapes looks cute, so don’t worry about cutting exactly on the line!

3. Slit along the curved line on the envelope so the flap can tuck in (grown-ups only with a craft knife). If you prefer, skip the slit and just tape or glue the flap closed.

4. Fold along the dashed lines, folding outward so the colorful side stays on the outside.
Tip: For easier folding, place a ruler behind each dashed line, align it carefully, and fold the paper over the ruler.

5. Glue the blank note inside the middle of the envelope.

6. Add the cut-and-paste stickers anywhere you like.

And that’s it — your envelope is ready to use! It’s a sweet little project that stationery lovers (and kids) will enjoy making.
