Passover Activity Book for Kids: A Haggadah Companion for the Seder

I created a new Passover activity book for kids, designed to be used during the Seder itself!
My Haggadah Activity Book for Passover Seder is a colorful book that guides kids through the Seder in an interactive way.

The book follows the order of the Seder and includes short explanations and key moments from the Haggadah. It’s full of puzzles, games, and creative prompts, all connected to the Seder and the Passover story.

With this activity book, kids can follow along the Seder, keep track of what’s going on at the table, and learn about Passover through play.

The full-color paperback is available on Amazon.

The Book I Wish I Had at the Seder

The word “seder” means “order” in Hebrew, but the Seder never felt ordered to me as a kid. It felt messy, long, and confusing. I spent the evening giggling with my cousins, asking 100 times when we would eat, and eventually falling asleep on my chair.

And yet the whole point of the night is “you shall tell your child”, meaning — we are supposed to pass the story of Passover to the next generation.

Honestly? The Seder is confusing even for grown-ups. There are so many steps, symbols, songs, and traditions. If you didn’t grow up knowing the flow, it’s easy to lose track.

I made My Haggadah Activity Book for Passover Seder because I want kids to feel like they’re part of what’s happening — and have a Seder experience that’s meaningful, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable.

'My Haggadah Activity Book for Passover Seder' is a Passover activity book for kids ages 6–8, designed to follow the Seder step by step. The book has clear explanations, key points from the Haggadah, and activities that connect to the Passover story and traditions.

A Passover Activity Book for a Seder with Kids

My Haggadah Activity Book for Passover Seder follows the Seder step by step, with simple explanations and activities connected to each part of the night. There are short points from the Haggadah (such as ‘The Four Sons’ and ‘Ma Nishtana’), so the book really aligns with the Seder. Kids can turn the pages along with the Seder, understand where they are, and connect to the story and traditions.

It’s not a children’s version of the Haggadah, and it’s not just a holiday activity book. It’s a Passover Seder activity book that moves with the Seder itself.

Follow the Seder and Learn About Passover

Inside this activity book, kids will find:

  • The steps of the Seder, clearly marked and easy to follow

  • Key points from the Haggadah explained in simple language

  • Mazes, word searches, puzzles, coloring pages, and reflection prompts tied to the Passover story

  • Explanations of traditions, symbols, and why we celebrate Passover

  • Two cut-and-assemble activities for after the Seder or during the holiday

There’s also a hidden cat to spot throughout the book, secret Passover facts, and colorful details to discover along the way.

It was important to me that the book works even for kids who are new to Passover, with clear explanations that don’t assume they already know the story or traditions.

You can see the book’s full cover and take a look inside on Amazon.

One of the activities in the book is a simple cut-and-paste craft that recreates the scene of baby Moses in the bulrushes, being found by Pharaoh’s daughter.

The pieces are printed in the book. Kids cut them out and follow step-by-step instructions (with photos) to assemble a small 3D scene:

A Meaningful Passover Gift for Kids

My Haggadah Activity Book for Passover Seder is designed to sit next to a Haggadah and move along with the Seder. It can be used ahead of time too, so kids come into the Seder already familiar with the flow. The book includes all the important things to know about Passover: What is the Passover story? What do we celebrate? Why is it called Passover? What are the other holiday traditions?

My Haggadah Activity Book for Passover Seder answers all the questions in a light, kid-friendly way.

My Haggadah Activity Book for Passover Seder is a full-color, 78-page paperback created for ages 6–8, with solutions to the puzzles included at the end. I designed it especially for families preparing for a Seder with kids.

It’s a simple idea for including kids in the Seder, and a gift they’ll be excited to find at the table.
