printable thanksgiving coloring book –
A meaningful activity for kids
The printable file for this gratitude-themed Thanksgiving coloring book has everything you need for a meaningful activity and a sweet party favor. Here’s what’s inside:
-
Mini Thanksgiving Gratitude Coloring Book — 4 spreads (8 illustrated prompt pages) + cover (all black and white)
-
Matching printable bag topper in color — sized to fit a 6″x9″ clear bag for turning the booklet into a party favor
The folded booklet measures 13.4 x 18 cm (5.27” x 7.1”).

What You’ll Need*
You can keep the coloring book simple, or level it up as a packaged Thanksgiving table gift. Here’s what I used:
-
Printable template (get it through the sign-up box further below)
- White cardstock for printers — for best results
- Scissors
- Long arm stapler
- Clear cellophane bags (6”x9”)
- Mini colored pencil set (optional but makes it extra cute as a favor)
* Includes Amazon affiliate links
How to Assemble the Coloring Book
1. Print the pages on white cardstock.

2. Cut around each double-page spread, following the outer border.
3. Fold each spread along the dashed line — fold outward so the illustrations stay on the outside.
4. Stack the pages in order, with the cover spread on top.

5. Staple along the spine: Long-arm stapler is the easiest to use here, but if you only have a regular stapler, here is a trick:
Place the spread-out booklet facing down on a piece of foam board or cardboard. Open your stapler (like you’re stapling onto a wall). Press two staples along the spine line. Lift the booklet, then bend the staple ends inward using the back of the stapler or any firm object.

6. Prepare the Bag Topper: Cut the bag topper from the template and fold it along the dashed line so the colorful side faces out.

7. Slip the booklet into a clear sleeve along with a mini pencil pack. Fold and staple the topper over the top of the bag to seal.

And there you have it — a DIY Thanksgiving party favor for kids, a gratitude activity for the Thanksgiving dinner table, and a fun coloring book that encourages thankfulness.
