This kawaii printable Valentine’s Day shaker gift bag is several things in one. At first I wanted to make a Valentine’s Day craft tutorial, but then I felt like making a free printable, but I also liked the idea of a DIY shaker card… Eventually I ended up with a free printable Valentine’s Day gift bag which is also a DIY shaker card and a Valentine’s Day craft idea for kids. Yep, all of the above!

Printable Valentine’s Day shaker gift bag
There is a printable template and the instructions are down below. Grab your favorite kids and enjoy valentine’s Day craft time together.
You will need*:
- This printable Valentine’s Day gift bag
- White card stock to print on
- Craft knife or Scissors
- Glue stick
- Sequins
- Transparency film
- Adhesive foam tape
optional:
- Small paper punches
- Colorful craft paper

Steps:
1. Print out the temple on white cards stock that fits your printer. Cut out the parts.
2. Trace the blank heart onto transparent film and cut out a heart shape.
3. Glue the heart shaped transparency film to the back side of the red heart frame.
4. Cut small pieces of adhesive foam tape and stick them to the back side of the heart frame.
5. Place sequins on the white heart-shaped area of the gift bag. I added some tiny paper hearts that I cut with paper punches.
6. Stick the heart frame on top of the white heart area to seal the sequins.
7. Fold along the dashed lines of the gift bag. Tip: It’s easier to fold if you score first. To score, place a ruler along the dashed lines and press with the dull edge of a butter knife, to make a soft crease.
8. Apply glue on the glue tabs and close the bag.
9. Staple the bag handle, and it’s done!
Now you can write a message on the back of the shaker gift bag.
