This printable Christmas craft is both cute and handy: it’s a DIY snowman gift tag (or tree ornament). Print out the template, color the parts, cut them out, glue them together and decorate your snowman tag!

Make the snowman gift tag

There are a few ways to make this snowman Christmas tag. One is to color the parts by hand (kids always enjoy that!). Another is to cut the snowman parts out of colorful cardstock. You can either trace the template pieces onto the colorful cardstock, or print the template directly on colorful cardstock for printers.

Materials for this craft*:

This printable Christmas party favor craft kit
White cardstock for printers
Crayons / colored pencils / markers (if you want to color it)
Colorful cardstock (if you don’t want to color it)
Scissors
Glue stick
Plastic gems
String or ribbon

Steps:

1. Print the template on white cardstock. If you are not planning to make a party favor, print only the snowman parts (page 1). Color the p[arts and cut them out.

For a no-coloring version, trace the parts onto colorful cardstock (some parts can stay white). It’s also optional to print the template directly on colorful cardstock for printers.

2. Use glue stick to glue the snowman parts in this order: 1. Glue the sock to the background. 2. Glue the sock’s parts to the sock. 3. Glue the head. 4. Glue the hands and the hat. 5. Glue the hat’s pompom, the holly leaves and the berry.

Make a DIY Christmas party favor

This printable craft comes with a printable treat bag topper and a colorful instruction sheet. Pack the materials in a cellophane sleeve and make beautiful Christmas party favors. Add a small pack of colored pencils to complete the Christmas craft kit!

Steps:

1. Print the printable Christmas party favor craft kit. Cut out the three frames with the snowman parts, as well as the topper and the instruction page.

2. Insert the three frames into an 4”x6” (or 10x15CM) Cellophane sleeve. Insert the instruction page facing down, so that it’s visible from the other side. Add a string and a few plastic gems for decoration. If you want, put in a small box of colored pencils.
